19th Century French Black Forest Carved Walnut Cave a Liqueur with Cigar Holders
Created circa 1870, this antique liquor cabinet is an essential for an elegant bar area. Made in the French Alps, the cave à liqueur is unique in that it is fitted with a cigar holder. The fruitwood box features detailed carvings throughout the body, which includes two carved birds at the pediment. The decorative box is further embellished by floral and foliage decor on the front and both sides. Inside the box, there are two opaline glass carafes with stoppers and six matching cordial glasses standing in the side doors. Each frosted glass and decanter features etched Greek motifs and faces. The liquor box is completed by twelve round cigars compartments. The piece is in excellent condition with a rich walnut patina and the original lock and key. Place this Classic liquor/cigar cabinet in a study, game room or living room so that you can create a full bar with old world charm.
