19th Century French Rococo Carved Giltwood Footstool with Aubusson Tapestry
This elegant, antique Louis XV footstool was crafted in France, circa 1850. The carved, rectangular rococo footres, features ornate carving with shell and foliage motif, scroll feet over the intricate bow apron, and is upholstered with hand woven Aubusson floral tapestry in soft beige, green and red palette. The stool is in excellent condition with a rich gilt patinated finish and is further embellished by decorative brass nail heads. Place this small stool in a living room or bedroom in front of an armchair or chair for extra feet comfort. Measures: 18″ W x 12″ D x 9.5″ H.
