Large 19th Century French Copper and Iron Poissonniere or Fish Kettle
This antique, rectangular “poissonniere” (or fish pot) was crafted in France, circa 1870. Made out of copper with large forged iron handle and attached with rivets, this rustic kitchen essential could still be used for fish cooking. The metal kettle is in excellent condition with a rich, patinated finish. This sturdy, versatile, traditional piece could also be used as a decorative flower jardinière center table, or simply displayed on top of kitchen cabinets. Measures: 24″ W x 7″ D x 6″ H.
