17th Century French Louis XIII Period Carved Walnut Armoire with Fleur-De-Lys

This exceptional armoire from the Perigord region and from the time of King Louis XIII of France reign, is a beautiful yet very functional piece that offers extra storage. The antique, fruitwood wardrobe was created circa 1670, and features two heavily carved doors on the front, and two smaller doors on either side (in the old days, these smaller side doors were used to store rifles or shotguns). The front panels have fleur-de-lys and geometric diamond shape motif designs. At the bottom, you’ll find a long drawer with four bun feet at the base. The piece is in excellent condition and has a rich and deep walnut patina. Sold with all three keys. Measures: 73″ W x 25″ D x 99″ H. SKU: 171-23
