Display a faience or Majolica collection inside this highly hand carved display cabinet. Crafted in Normandy, France, circa 1790, the antique bonnetiere is built in two sections. The top with a beautifully carved floral basket at the pediment, features a carved door decorated with floral and foliage motifs; the door embellished with chicken wire, reveals three adjustable shelves for display inside. The lower section stands on escargot feet over a scalloped apron, and features two nicely carved drawers decorated with round floral medallions and iron pulls. The cabinet is in excellent condition with rich light oak patinated finish. Key included. Place this cabinet in a breakfast room or in a master bathroom for display and storage purpose.
