Decorate a fireplace with this antique fireback. Crafted in France, circa 1780, the mythological iron plaque has an arched top flanked with dolphin figures on both sides. The central composition features a crowned goddess waving a large flag surrounded with decorative foliage decor. The ornate fireplace essential is in excellent condition with a rich polished finish, and could also be used as a backslash behind a kitchen stove. Measures: 15″ W x 20″ H.
