About
This elegant, antique, gilt wall mirror would make a charming addition to a living room or powder room. Crafted in Southern France, circa 1780, the mirror is heavily carved and exemplifies the design elements of the Rococo and Baroque style. The pediment shows the shape of an opened book, crossed with a pair of music instruments, and topped with a laurel crown and laurel leaves. Both sides of the mirror are decorated with a rope and hanging tassels. The mirror has its original mercury glass and wood backing for structure. The ornate, rectangular mirror is in excellent condition with its original bright and patinated gold leaf finish. There’s hanging wire on the back for easy handling and installation.
Measures: 24″ W x 38″ H.
