This beautifully executed antique wedding trunk was crafted in Normandy France, circa 1780. The colorful, arched box is decorated with multiple hand painted flowers and leaves scattered on all four sides including on the bombe top; the small box features the original patinated painted finish composed of beige, terracotta, green and mustard colors. The petite trunk is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and is embellished with the original iron lock mechanism and a small wire handle at the top. Dress a coffee table, or decorate a shelf with this elegant and versatile wedding trunk! Original key included. Measures: 10″ W x 6″ D x 6″ H.
