This antique “Poissonniere” (or fish pot) was crafted in France, circa 1780. Oval in shape and made of copper with a large forged iron handle attached with rivets, this country kitchen essential could still be used for fish cooking. The pot kettle is in excellent condition with a rich, patinated polished finish. This sturdy, versatile, traditional piece could also be used as a decorative flower jardinière center piece, or simply displayed on top of kitchen cabinets. Measures: 21″ W x 10″ D x 5″ H.
