Decorate a garden or backyard with this elegant antique fountain birdbath. Crafted in France circa 1780 and coming from a Loire Valley chateau, the large garden element features a beautiful scalloped shell form basin at the base with a carved cherub figure holding the tail of a dolphin in the back; the dolphin’s mouth would spit water if hooked up. The Louis XV piece is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with a fabulous weathered finish and evidence of outdoor use. There is a chip on the back bottom area. See last picture. A true one of a kind and lovely addition to any outdoor garden! Measures: 27″W x 28″D x 33.5″H.
