Crafted in Italy circa 1760, the religious gilt wood wall decor features a arched top and sides decorated with inset hand carved leaf motifs medallions. The center is embellished with a hand painted icon depicting “Mother and Child”. The large wall mounted sculpture is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a wonderful patinated gold leaf finish with a pale green painted background; a true one of a kind!
