18th Century Spanish Louis XIII Carved Chestnut Side Table on Turned Legs
Incorporate extra, functional surface space into your living room or den with this elegant antique heavily carved side table. Crafted in northern Spain circa 1780 and rectangular in shape, the side table stands on turned legs ending with bun feet, and connected with a bottom stretcher. The Louis XIII end table features a well carved apron decorated with geometric motifs throughout and dressed a side drawer embellished with the original forged iron pull. The surface is made with one single fruit wood board. The sturdy occasional table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina with beautiful natural distress. Intricate, beautifully carved and versatile, this table could also be used as a nightstand or a bedside table. Measures: 40.75″ W x 19.25″ D x 27″ H.
