19th Century English Black Leather-Bound and Gilt Tooling Holy Family Bible
This beautiful antique Bible appointed to be read in churches, was printed in England by Cassell, Petter & Galpin, London, Paris and New York, circa 1860. The book flaunts a black leather cover, embellished with gilt tooling and an engraved center cross. Inside, the Bible features the old and new testament with explanatory notes, references and condensed concordance; it is further illustrated with over 980 highly finished engravings. The Holy Bible is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and has a rich patinated finish. Measures: 10″ W x 4″ D x 13″ H.
