19th Century English Victorian Carved Pine and Iron Folding Library Step Ladder
Decorate a study or a library with this whimsical antique ladder. Crafted in England circa 1880 and made of pine, the scalloped stairs features six graduated steps to one side and connected to the opposing support with cast iron patent action folding mechanism stamped with the words “Ladder Simplex” and “Self Acting Stop Pat #6856”. The elegant Victorian step ladder is in excellent condition with a rich walnut patina, wonderful character, and stunning hinges.
