Crafted in France circa 1880, and built of oak wood, the tall antique mirror is rectangular in shape, and could be used vertically or horizontally. Decorated with hand carved oak leaf and acorn nut motifs throughout the thick frame, the wall mirror is dressed with the original beveled mercury glass. The large and heavy Black Forest mirror has its original wood backing; it is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina. A great addition to a dining room, entry, or study. Hooks in the back for easy installation. Some of the mercury on the glass has come off of the mirror. See detailed pictures.
