The elegant antique ceramic tile frame was created in France, circa 1860. The wall decor is set inside a carved oak frame, and features six hand painted faience tiles with illustrations typical of the traditional Delft style and coloration; the motifs depict harbor scenes including water, sailboat, windmill and people walking along a path. The wall hanging frame is in good condition commensurate with age and use, with a soft, classic palette of blue and white colors. Some minor chipping on one of the tiles (see detailed images). Measures: 19.25″ W x 2″D x 13.75″ H.
