For the ultimate fisherman or bird hunter, look no further than this exquisite buffet! Created in France, circa 1860, the antique cabinet sits on bun feet over a carved recessed base plinth. The buffet with cut corners embellished with acanthus leaf and shell decor, features two side by side drawers across the front, dressed with hand carved branch form handles and floral motifs over a pair of double doors; each door panel is heavily carved, and features bird and fish medallions in high relief bounded by foliage decor around. The inside reveals a central shelf for ultimate storage. The Black Forest buffet is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich light stripped oak finish, and exquisite carving details. Key included.
