19th Century French Carved Grey and White Marble Eagle with Glass Eyes
Decorate a shelf or a man’s office desk with this stately carved, antique marble eagle. Created in France, circa 1870, the sculpture depicts a gray and white bird standing on a rectangular rock with his head turned. The avian sculpture dressed with glass eyes, features wonderful detailed carvings especially through the plumage and talons. The sculpture is in excellent condition with a beautiful patinated finish and different shades of marble. Measures: 4.5″ W x 5″ D x 11.5″ H.
