This antique wooden ship wheel was carved in France, circa 1880. The traditional, fruit wood nautical object has its original metal brace, eight turned handles and is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns the original rich walnut patina. This classic wheel would make a beautiful gift for a sailor, as well as a wall decor in a beach house or lake resort. Measures: 44″ diameter.
