19th Century French Carved Walnut and Leather Eight-Leg Barley Twist Bench
Add extra seating to an entry or a game room with this long antique fruitwood bench. Crafted in Southern France circa 1870, the bench was found in a large chateau in the Perigord region. The traditional Louis XIII style bench features eight barley twist legs connected with a bottom stretcher and embellished with a central finial. The comfortable, cushioned seat is upholstered with the original patinated dark green leather. The important bench is in excellent condition and has a rich walnut patina throughout.
