19th Century French Carved Walnut Boar Sculpture Footstool
Rest your feet on this interesting footstool! crafted in France, circa 1890 and built in one piece of walnut, the hand-carved sculpture depicts a boar figure sniffing; the hog faces forward with mouth open showing real tusks, and tail sticking out straight. The pig adorns a beautiful patinated finish, and very realistic shape and details. The animal sculpture is in excellent condition with natural distress, and could also be used to decorate a corner next to a fireplace. Measures: 46″ W x 10″ D x 15″ H.
