About
This elegant antique 10 foot monastery dining table was crafted in France, circa 1850. Standing on two carved turned pedestal legs ending with shoe base and joined by bottom stretcher attached with key and tenon, the provincial table is dressed with a solid rectangular 2″ thick single plank top. The heavy Louis XIII style trestle farm table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina with beautiful distressed finish; a wonderful breakfast or dining table with lots of character that would sit ten to twelve people comfortably! Versatile, this long table could also be used as a long narrow console against a wall under a beautiful Aubusson tapestry! Measures: 120.5″ W x 29.5″ D x 31.75″ H.
