Crafted in France circa 1860 and built of solid walnut, the large wall hanging sculpture features heavily carved motifs throughout including hand carved lion figures holding a family crest on both sides; it is further embellished with acanthus leaves and scrolled decor throughout. The long wall-mounted carving is in excellent condition with a rich walnut patina. A true one of a kind which could be used over a window or as a headboard! Measures: 85″ W x 22″ H.
