About
Crafted in France circa 1880, the elegant antique gueridon stands on three turned legs with bottom shaped stretcher and ending with bun feet. Each columnar support is dressed with patinated gilt brass rings at the base and at the neck. Over a straight apron, the circular top features radiating marquetry decor embellished with a decorative acacia fillet around the perimeter. The table is dressed with a frieze bombe drawer decorated with a brass pull. The occasional table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and adorns a rich walnut patina; versatile, the Empire table could be used as a side table besides a chair. Measures: 19.75″ diameter 27.5″ height.
