Decorate a hallway or game room with this elegant antique trunk; crafted in France circa 1830, the Gothic blanket coffer stands on a double X-shape stand. With a dome shape, the leather chest is decorated with hand painted gilt chinoiserie landscape scenes, and embellished with decorative nails and iron side handles and lock mechanism. The large trunk is in excellent condition commensurate with a rich patinated finish, and features plenty of inside storage for blankets, toys or other items. Measures: 45″ W x 23″ D x 35.5″ H.
