19th Century French Green Onyx Gilt Bronze and Champleve Enamel Table Clock
This antique and colorful desk clock was crafted in France circa 1870; set on a rectangular onyx base, the elegant time keeper features four champleve enamel columns with bronze rings, a circular centre clock with French mechanism marked “A1, France, 208 4 11, 80″ and a decorative and ornate mercury pendulum. The clock work is enclosed inside a four-panel frame with bronze edges. The clock is in excellent working order and has a rich patinated finish in the green and blue palette. Place this clock on a mantel or a commode. Key included.
