Decorate a counter, a study, or a wine cellar with this large antique wood figure. Crafted in Southern France, circa 1890, the carved figurative sculpture stands on an integral square base, and features a standing monk in traditional cassock and sandals, his hood over his head and praying. The sculpture has a wonderful detailed carvings, including his religious clothing. This whimsical carved sculpture is in excellent condition and adorns a rich walnut patina. Measures: 6″ W x 5.5″ D x 18″ H.
