19th Century French Hand Painted and Gilt Porcelain Butter Dish from Limoges
This antique butter or cheese dish was created in Limoges, France circa 1880. The two-piece porcelain plate and dome with knob are hand painted with pastoral scenes including farmer ladies and cows. Both pieces are in excellent condition with soft pastel colors and gilt decor. Stamped Limoges on the bottom. Measures: 8.5″ diameter.
