19th Century French Hand Painted Blue and White Porcelain Umbrella Stand
Place this tall, elegant stand at your front door or in your mudroom to catch loose canes and umbrellas. Crafted in France, circa 1880, the circular porcelain umbrella holder features a colorful hand painted pastoral scene with herons onshore; it is further embellished with top and bottom floral bands in the style of Delft. The round piece is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns rich and well maintained colors in the blue and white palette. Small hairline at the top (see last picture).
