This elegant, antique vase was created in Luneville, France circa 1870. The tall, thin vase has a classic blue and white palette and is decorated with natural motifs including birds and flowers.The long neck is flanked by yellow dolphin handles at the base and yellow scroll handles towards the mouth. The unique porcelain vase is signed “Saint Clement” on the bottom. The piece is in excellent condition and has rich, well-maintained colors. The Faience of Luneville – Saint-Clement has been the heir of the prestigious pottery of Lorraine since the 18th century. The manufacture of Luneville was founded circa 1730, while that of the St. Clement was founded circa 1758. Measure: Diameter 10″ Height 27″. SKU: 01-6
