About
This elegant antique vase was crafted in Normandy, circa 1880. The ceramic, rounded potiche features hand-painted flower decor in a traditional blue, white and yellow palette. The lid of the porcelain vase is topped with a small bird figurine. The piece is further embellished by the crest of Brittany, and the traditional crown is flanked by the two grey dogs. The jar is in excellent condition with rich colors and is stamped France on the bottom. (Small chip on the top rim under the lid but it’s not visible).
