19th Century French Handwoven Tree-Tier Wicker Basket from Normandy
Created in the Normandy region of France circa 1880 and made of handwoven wicker, the antique basket was originally for apple picking and display. The tall three-tier piece features a large wooden handle at the pediment over a trio of stacked oval baskets of different sizes. The large antique basket is in excellent condition and would make a beautiful statement in a wine cellar with floral embellishments, or simply in a kitchen filled with fruit or vegetable.
