Created in France, circa 1860, the cabinet sits on bun feet over a recessed base plinth. The buffet with barley twist columns on the sides and floral rosette medallions, features two drawers across the front decorated with carved leaves handles and floral motifs. The cabinet is dressed with a pair of double doors; each door panel is heavily carved, and features medallions with fox and dog motifs in high relief bounded by foliage decor. The inside reveals a central shelf for ultimate storage. The Black Forest buffet is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich light bleached oak finish, and exquisite carving details. Key included.
