19th Century French Louis Philippe Carved Silvered Wall Mirror with Stripe Decor
Crafted in the Burgundy region of France, circa 1880, the antique mirror has traditional, timeless lines with rounded corners. The rectangular frame is decorated with a luxurious silver leaf finish over discrete engraved two-tone stripe motif, and further embellished with carved bead decor around the frame. The classic wall piece is in excellent condition with a sturdy wood backing, and adorns a rich and bright patinated silvered finish. New wire has been installed on the back for easy handling and installation. This Louis Philippe mirror could be added to a number of rooms in your home for a traditional French style, including over a mantel or in a powder room between a pair of sconces.
