19th Century French Louis Philippe Silver Leaf Wall Mirror with Geometric Motifs
Crafted in the Burgundy region of France, circa 1870, and rectangular in shape, the elegant antique mirror has traditional, timeless lines with rounded corners. The frame is decorated with a luxurious silver leaf finish over discrete engraved geometric motifs. The classic wall piece with its original mercury glass, sturdy wood backing, is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich and bright patinated silvered finish. New wire has been installed on the back for easy handling and installation. This Louis Philippe mirror could be added to a number of rooms in your home for a traditional French style, including in a powder room between a pair of sconces. A few dark spots here and there, a sign showing age of the glass. Measures: 28″ W x 43.75″ H.
