19th Century French Louis XIII Carved Faux Marble Painted Three-Door Buffet
Crafted in northern France circa 1870, this elegant antique enfilade stands on bun feet over a thick plinth apron. The cabinet features three carved drawers across the front dressed with the original metal handles, over three paneled doors embellished with circular columns between each door. The inside reveals center shelving for ultimate storage. Both sides are decorated with raised panels. The cabinet is hand painted with a faux marble paint finish, including a city scene on the center door and hand painted scroll motifs on the to surface. The long and deep Louis XIII cabinet is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated painted finish in the soft green palette.
