19th Century French Louis XIII Carved Oak Jelly Cabinet from Normandy
This antique jelly cabinet was crafted in Normandy, France, circa 1880. Made of oak wood and standing on straight legs over a straight apron, the “confiturier” features a top drawer dressed with an iron pull. The piece features a single carved door decorated with diamond shape and geometric motif; the inside reveals center shelving for ultimate storage. This small, charming Louis XIII style buffet is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich light fruit wood patina.
