Place this elegant antique fireplace tool set next to your mantel. Crafted in France circa 1870 and made of bronze and iron, the “Serviteur” sits on a shell form bottom base decorated with scroll and acanthus leaf motifs; the set includes three tools, all decorated with a torch finial shaped finial over a central hand grip: it includes a shovel, tongs and poker (poker from a later addition). The fireplace essential is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated gilt and gun barrel finish. Measures: 10.5″W x 9.5″D x 31″H.
