About
This elegant, antique Louis XV footstool was crafted in France, circa 1850. The carved, rectangular footrest sits on four scroll legs with escargot feet, and features ornate carvings. The carved elements include foliage motif over the bow and a scalloped apron. The stool is upholstered with handwoven verdure Aubusson tapestry in a neutral soft beige and light brown palette. The stool is in excellent condition, and flaunts both a rich gilt patinated finish and decorative brass nailheads. Place this small stool in a living room or bedroom in front of an armchair or chair for extra comfort and support for your feet.
