This elegant antique gilt mirror was crafted in France, circa 1870. Arched at the top, the ornate pierced pediment features a floral and shell decor cartouche with leaves trailing down the sides and the frame is decorated with geometric designs throughout. The Louis XV mirror is dressed with the original mercury glass in front of the original wood backing. The wall mirror is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a beautiful and rich gold leaf finish. New wire and hooks in the back for easy installation. Versatile, it could be placed in an entry, a powder room or in a living room over a mantel. Measures: 34″ W x 4″ D x 63.25″ H.
