This elegant antique vitrine was crafted in southern France, circa 1880. The petite fruit wood cabinet has a carved and pierced bonnet top embellished with decorative turned finials around the pediment. The vitrine has three sides with clear glass and the carved front door decorated with floral and leaf motifs. The door opens to reveal an inside upholstered with vintage silk fabric, and a pair of shelves. The organizational, storage piece features escargot feet with acanthus leaves at the base, and a pierced apron decorated with a carved shell motif and flowers. The charming little display cabinet is in excellent condition and has a rich walnut patina. The versatile cabinet can be hang on a wall or resting on a flat surface. Measures: 23″ W x 12″ D x 40″ H.
