19th Century French Louis XV Carved Walnut Stool with Stretcher from Provence
Colorful and elegant, this antique stool will add a charming French character to your home. Crafted in southern France, circa 1880, the hand-carved stool features intricate work including shell carvings on the scalloped apron, cabriole legs with acanthus leaves and scrolled feet, and a X-stretcher with center carved flower. The square stool is covered with a silk fabric in the gold and red palette and embellished by decorative brass nail heads. The piece is in excellent condition with a rich walnut patina.
