19th Century French Louis XV Marble Top Polished Wrought Iron Console Table
Forged in France circa 1860, the antique console table base stands on straight legs connected with an all around bottom stretcher. Long and narrow, the Louis XV style table features intricate scrolled decor on all three sides, embellished with a central medallion from which the rest of the design extends. The tall rectangular table is dressed with a thick variegated “Nero Marquina” black marble top with white veins, finished with ogee edge on three sides. The heavy table base is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich polished black and white steel finish. Versatile, the elegant Parisian console would add the ideal amount of surface space to any hallway, entryway or on a outside patio underneath a large big screen TV. Over 200 pounds.
