19th Century French Louis XV Rococo Gilt Bronze Mantel Clock with Cherubs
Crafted in Paris, France circa 1860, the antique time keeper stands on an attached ornate base over scrolled feet; the portico clock with side columns and decorative top finial is decorated with two cherubs holding a shield. The clock is further decorated with acanthus leaves, Fleur de Lys, mask faces and other intricate decor. The timepiece has been checked and cleaned, is in excellent working order, keeping good time, and striking on the hour and half hour. The ornate rococo clock is in excellent condition with a rich patinated gilt finish. Place this elegant clock on a mantel or a shelf in an office or study. Original intricate pendulum and key included. Measures: 11.5″ W x 6″ D x 17.5″ H.
