Place this elegant, antique gilt wood bench in your den or living room for extra seating. Crafted in Paris, France, circa 1890, the large traditional stool stands on cabriole legs decorated with acanthus leaf motifs at the shoulders ending with escargot feet, and dressed with a curved X stretcher at the base. The bombe apron is embellished with floral and leaf decor. The seat is upholstered with a patinated light brown Hermes leather, and dressed with old brass nail heads around the frame. The Provincial Louis XV style stool is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated gold leaf finish. Measures: 33″W x 30″D x 18″H.
