Adorn your living room, bedroom, or office with this beautifully carved antique armchair. Crafted in France circa 1880, the fruitwood chair stands on tapered and turned legs decorated with twisted leaf motifs around the legs and embellished with florral medallions at the shoulder. The chair features an ornate frame with rounded back dressed with deep carvings, including carved flowers and leaves at the pediment and around the bombe apron; it also has exquisite curved armrests. The desk armchair is upholstered with a light green velvet fabric, with some wearing and a bleach mark on the seat. The elegant piece is in excellent condition with a rich walnut patina; it would also make a wonderful vanity chair in a master bedroom. Measures: 23″ W x 21.5″ D x 35.5″ H.
