19th Century French Louis XVI Carved Walnut Round Adjustable Swivel Piano Stool
This carved antique fruitwood stool was created in France, circa 1880. Perfect as a piano stool or simply a statement piece, the round seating has four carved tapered legs with a central leg hosting the large iron adjustable screw. The stool is further embellished by carved decorative floral medallions around the round apron. The seat is upholstered with a handwoven needlepoint tapestry in a mustard and brown palette. Last but not least, the chair has an adjustable height and swivel mechanism for comfortable seating. The piece is in excellent condition and has a rich walnut patina.
