Place this antique 19th century French clock on a mantel or a desk. Crafted in France circa 1880, the elegant clock sits on four intricate feet with carved cherubs figures holding torches. The clock features a porcelain medallion plaque in the center that is hand painted with colorful young children. Above the ceramic cherub plate, a porcelain clock component that is also decorated with lush foliage. The pediment features a porcelain shape urn topped with a gilt finial. The clock mechanism has been cleaned and checked up by our clock man; it is in excellent working order and keeps good time. The time keeper is in excellent condition with a rich patinated gilt finish and is decorated in a cobalt blue color palette. Pendulum and winding key included.
