19th Century, French Napoleon III Iron and Stained Glass Three-Light Lantern
Hang this elegant, Gothic lantern in your entry or powder room. Crafted in France, circa 1870, the antique light fixture features four hand-painted, stained glass panels in the red, green and yellow palette, which are embellished with foliage and Fleur-de-Lys decor. The frame has ornate, decorative scrolls throughout the top and bottom of the structure, and one of the panels has a small door to access the light bulbs. The lantern has three inside lights newly wired and dressed with decorative candle sleeve covers. The fixture is in excellent condition and has its original patinated black finish with some silver accents. Included: A canopy, loop, and chain, each color-matched to the fixture. Measures: 12″ W x 12″ D x 28″ H.
