Create an elegant bar area with this complete antique liquor box. Created in France circa 1870, the rectangular Tantalus stands on small turned feet, the piece features an elegant top medallion with marquetry, brass and mother of pearl decor, including a two-tone marquetry decor on the surface and side windows. The decorative cave à liqueur with serpentine front is embellished with a similar medallion, with a lift top door and swing side doors, the cabinet reveals a removable brass caddy fitted with 16 glass cordials, and four matching carafes with cut-glass stoppers, each glass and decanter is embellished by floral and foliage etched motifs. The bar essential is in excellent condition, complete, and has a rich patinated French polished finish. Original key included. Measures: 13.25″ W x 10″ D x 11″ H.
